Política de No Reembolsos

Todas las compras realizadas en The Real Estate Institute (TREI) son finales y no reembolsables.

Al completar su inscripción y efectuar el pago, el estudiante reconoce y acepta que:

  • No se realizarán reembolsos bajo ninguna circunstancia, incluyendo pero no limitado a:

    • No asistencia

    • Cambio de planes personales

    • Pérdida de horas

    • Fallas de conexión del estudiante

    • No culminación del curso dentro del tiempo establecido

  • Los cursos, materiales, accesos digitales, libros y servicios educativos no son transferibles ni canjeables por dinero.

  • Esta política aplica a todos los cursos, modalidades y métodos de pago, incluyendo pagos con tarjetas internacionales, Klarna, Afterpay u otras plataformas de financiamiento.

Al inscribirse, el estudiante declara haber leído, comprendido y aceptado esta política en su totalidad.

 

Tarjetas internacionales:

  • Las tarjetas internacionales pueden estar sujetas a deducibles adicionales. 

Pagos con Klarna y After Pay:

  • TREI no se hace responsable sobre los pagos con Klarna y Afterpay. A la hora de seleccionar la modalidad con la que deseas realizar el pago debes estar seguro de escoger la opción correcta. Klarna y Afterpay son plataformas alternas que te hacen un préstamo para que puedas realizar el curso y pagues en plazos de 4, 6 y 12 meses.

Cambios de fecha:

  • Los estudiantes pueden solicitar un cambio de fecha antes de que comience la clase, con un costo de $100.
  • Asistir a una clase, ya sea presencial o virtual, se considera prueba de haber comenzado el curso.

No asistencia o pérdida de horas:

  • Si el estudiante pierde más de 8 horas de instrucción o asiste parcialmente, no habrá reembolsos.

Examen final:

  • Si un estudiante no aprueba el examen final del curso, deberá tener en cuenta lo siguiente: Debe esperar un mínimo de treinta (30) días desde la fecha en que presentó el examen por primera vez para poder volver a intentarlo.

  • Dentro de un período de un (1) año, contado desde la fecha del examen original, el estudiante solo podrá presentar el examen nuevamente una (1) vez.

  • Para presentar el segundo intento del examen, el estudiante deberá pagar un fee de $50.

  • Si el estudiante no aprueba el segundo intento, deberá repetir el curso completo antes de poder volver a presentar el examen final.

Si el estudiante no se presenta el día programado para el examen, perderá automáticamente su primera oportunidad, la cual será registrada como un intento reprobado. En este caso, se aplicarán todas las condiciones establecidas para el segundo intento, incluyendo el período de espera correspondiente y el pago del fee aplicable.

Estas disposiciones se aplican conforme a las regulaciones establecidas por la Florida Real Estate Commission (FREC), específicamente bajo la norma 61J2-3.008 del Florida Administrative Code (F.A.C.), que regula los procedimientos de evaluación y repetición de exámenes de fin de curso.

Materiales entregados:

  • Los libros o materiales entregados no son reembolsables ni retornables.
  • Los estudiantes deben retirar sus libros en la sede del instituto, y si necesitan envío, habrá costos adicionales.

Modalidad “live streaming”:

  • TREI no se responsabiliza por fallas de conexión del estudiante. Si la transmisión se interrumpe por parte del instituto, se enviará una grabación de la clase.
  • El estudiante debe estar conectado, con su cámara encendida y atento durante toda la clase. El instituto estará constantemente monitoreando que esto así suceda. Este es un requisito obligatorio para cumplir con las horas requeridas y completar el curso, sin excepción.
  • Los estudiantes deben tener equipo adecuado (cámara y micrófono) para participar.

Modalidad “Online A Distancia”:

Los estudiantes que elijan la modalidad online a distancia para realizar su curso en The Real Estate Institute (TREI) aceptan y reconocen las siguientes condiciones:

    • Una vez realizado el pago, el estudiante contará con un plazo máximo de tres (3) meses para:

      • Visualizar y completar todas las clases disponibles en el portal del estudiante.

      • Marcar el 100% de los videos como completados.

      • Coordinar con el instituto la fecha para presentar el examen del instituto, la cual deberá realizarse dentro del período de vigencia del curso.

 

  • Es responsabilidad del estudiante organizar su tiempo y progreso académico para cumplir con estos requisitos dentro del plazo establecido.
  • En caso de que el estudiante no complete el curso dentro del plazo máximo de tres (3) meses, el acceso al curso será considerado vencido y perdido.

 

 

Reactivación del curso vencido online a distancia

  • Únicamente si el estudiante lo solicita, y dentro de un período máximo de un (1) mes posterior a la fecha de expiración, podrá optar por una reactivación del curso, bajo las siguientes condiciones:

    • 30 días adicionales por un costo de $39, o

    • 60 días adicionales por un costo de $59.

  • Durante el período de reactivación, el estudiante deberá completar todas las clases pendientes y presentar el examen del instituto dentro del tiempo otorgado.

  • Una vez vencido el período de solicitud de reactivación, o si tras la reactivación el estudiante no completa el curso ni presenta el examen dentro del tiempo extendido, el curso de prelicencia se considerará perdido y vencido sin posibilidad de una segunda reactivación.

  • En dicho caso, el estudiante deberá volver a inscribirse y realizar el pago completo del curso nuevamente si desea obtener la certificación correspondiente.

 

Examen presencial en Orlando:

  • Los estudiantes que vivan en Central Florida deben presentar el examen presencialmente en la sede de Orlando.
  • Los residentes fuera de esta área serán informados sobre cómo realizar el examen.

Derechos de cancelación y uso de materiales:

  • TREI se reserva el derecho de cancelar cursos sin aviso previo.
  • El curso es personal y no puede ser re vendido o transferido.
  • TREI puede usar fotos y videos de las clases para redes sociales sin compensación al estudiante.

Jurisdicción legal:

  • Cualquier disputa será mediada antes de tomar acciones legales.

  • This policy applies to all courses, modalities, and payment methods, including international cards, Klarna, Afterpay, or other financing platforms.

By enrolling, the student confirms having read, understood, and accepted this policy in full.

 

International Cards:

  • International cards may be subject to additional deductions.

Payments with Klarna and After Pay:

  • TREI is not responsible for payments made via Klarna or After Pay. When selecting a payment method, be sure to choose the correct option. Klarna and Afterpay are alternative platforms that provide loans to allow you to take the course and pay in installments over 4, 6, or 12 months.

Date Changes:

  • Students may request a date change before the class begins for a fee of $100.
  • Attendance at any class, whether in-person or virtual, is considered proof that the course has started.

Non-attendance or Loss of Hours:

  • If the student misses more than 8 hours of instruction or attends partially, no refunds will be issued.

Final Exam:

If a student fails the end-of-course exam, the following conditions apply:

  • The student must wait a minimum of thirty (30) days from the date of the original exam before retaking it.

  • Within a period of one (1) year from the date of the original exam, the student may retake the exam only one (1) additional time.

  • To take the second exam attempt, the student must pay a $50 administrative retake fee.

  • If the student fails the second attempt, the student must repeat the entire course before being eligible to take the end-of-course exam again.

Failure to appear on the scheduled exam date will result in the student forfeiting their first exam attempt, which will be recorded as a failed attempt. In such cases, all conditions applicable to a second attempt will apply, including the required waiting period and the applicable administrative retake fee.

These requirements are established in accordance with the regulations of the Florida Real Estate Commission (FREC) under Rule 61J2-3.008 of the Florida Administrative Code (F.A.C.), which governs end-of-course examination procedures and retesting eligibility. 

Delivered Materials:

  • Books or materials provided are non-refundable and non-returnable.
  • Students must pick up their books at the institute. If shipping is needed, additional charges will apply.

“Live Streaming” Modality:

  • TREI is not responsible for student connection issues.
     If the transmission is interrupted on the institute’s side, a class recording will be provided.
  • Students must remain connected, with their camera on and attentive throughout the entire class.
     The institute will continuously monitor compliance with this requirement.
  • This is a mandatory requirement to fulfill the required instructional hours and complete the course, without exception.
  • Students must have appropriate equipment, including a camera and microphone, to participate.

 

Online Distance Learning Modality

Students who choose the online distance learning modality at The Real Estate Institute (TREI) acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

  • Once payment is completed, the student will have a maximum period of three (3) months to:

    • View and complete all course content available on the student portal.

    • Mark 100% of the videos as completed.

    • Coordinate with the institute to schedule the institutional exam, which must be taken within the course validity period.

  • It is the student’s responsibility to manage their time and academic progress to meet these requirements within the established timeframe.
  • If the student does not complete the course within the three (3) month period, the course access will be considered expired and lost.

Online Distance Learning Course Reactivation Policy

  • Only upon student request, and within a maximum period of one (1) month after the expiration date, the student may request a course reactivation under the following options:

    • 30 additional days for a fee of $39, or

    • 60 additional days for a fee of $59.

  • During the reactivation period, the student must complete all remaining coursework and take the institutional exam within the granted extension.

  • Once the reactivation request period has passed, or if the student fails to complete the course and exam within the extended time, the pre-licensing course will be considered forfeited.

  • In such cases, the student must re-enroll and pay the full course fee again if they wish to obtain the corresponding certification.

 

In-Person Exam in Orlando:

  • Students living in Central Florida must take the final exam at the Orlando location.
  • Those outside this area will be informed of how to take the exam.

Cancellation Rights and Use of Materials:

  • TREI reserves the right to cancel courses without prior notice.
  • The course is personal and cannot be resold or transferred.
  • TREI may use photos and videos from the classes on social media without compensation to the student.

Legal Jurisdiction:

  • Any dispute will be mediated before taking legal action.

Image Use Authorization:

  • Students authorize TREI to use their photos and videos on social media without compensation.
